2nd Opinions a must!!!
Due too the recent downward trend in Health Care reimbursement rates many Podiatrists are considering to do foot surgery on patients before conservative therapy has shown to be ineffective. I would urge all those whose Podiatrist suggests foot surgery as a first line of correction to obtain a 2nd opinion before scheduling your foot surgery!!

Mini-Bunionectomy
Anyone who is considering a procedure called a " Mini-Bunionectomy" ( mini-tight rope) I would suggest you contact us for a second opinion! There are many Pro and Con issues with this procedure. The procedure (which actually has been used for over 50 years) has a higher then average rate of 2nd metatarsal (2nd big long bone in foot)fractures then other bunion procedures.
